The Role:

The Marketing Manager serves a key role in the definition and execution of marketing campaigns to support and grow a new brand in an exciting new category. Reporting to the Marketing Lead, the Marketing Manager is expected to own day-to-day execution and reporting of results for marketing campaigns with the support of other members of the marketing team and partner agencies. The Marketing Manager will also work closely with the Marketing Lead and Product Managers to help shape the definition of target personas and messaging



  • Work with the Marketing Lead to develop marketing plans for various product lines
  • Be the primary point of contact with partner agencies to execute against the marketing plan
  • Work closely with the Social Media Coordinator to execute the social media portion of the marketing plan
  • Be the steward of the brand, ensuring that all communications reflect the brand identity
  • Develop a comprehensive reporting system across all aspects of campaigns, actively identifying opportunities to optimize marketing spend and improve impact
  • Work closely with the Marketing Lead and Product Managers in the campaign planning stages to identify the target audience, develop an impactful messaging, and identify critical touch-points along the path to purchase



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field 
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, with exposure across digital marketing, content marketing, social media and marketing strategy 
  • Comfortable executing a digital campaign with or without the support of an external agency partner
  • A deep understanding and commitment to the idea of “the brand” and the role of brands in shaping product, customer experience, culture, etc
  • Desire for telling powerful stories and communicating the emotional dimensions that define a brand
  • Demonstrated success at operating in the grey and ability to bring clarity to nebulous situations 



  • Experience in marketing within the following industries: pharmaceutical, medical technology, healthcare, consumer electronics, wearables, apparel / fashion 
  • Experience in marketing on both the agency side and client side
  • Experience working in start-ups
  • Deep expertise in any of the following: content marketing, digital marketing, SEO, SEM, marketing, social media marketing, marketing automation, email marketing
